Tommaso Virgilii's Web Site

Peace! Welcome!

This website is in maintenance for a complete rebuilding.

What is this site?

This web page is meant to be the main page of my personal website. My name is Tommaso Virgilii, I am a physics student based in Rome, Italy. I love the internet culture, so i have decided to write an old-style web site in order to be a human on the web that now is invaded by multiple non human agents. The AI slop era may be the worse time to write on the web, but as it is said in the old saying: "hard times make strong men".

Other than in physics I'm interested in philosophy and epistemology, but also in the Greco-roman world, in fact before university I attended "liceo classico", the classical high-school in Italy. I am also very fond of studying religion (particularly Catholicism, which I practice).

Here you can find a list of topics in this web site:

1. On the Internet dominated by AI slop.
2. On FFT.
3. Suggested Web Pages.
4. Internet is not a cool place.
5. My CV. Updated Aug. 2026.
6. On Transmission Lines.
7. Sacred Places Where I Have Been.
8. Books suggestions.
9. On AI and the Navier-Stokes problem.

This site has also an Italian part, where i put more personal stuff that I have not translated in English.
